Design Intern

Within the Marketing team, we focus on building a strong, consistent and professional brand across all investor communications, campaigns, presentations and digital touchpoints. As a Design Intern, you will support our in-house designer and the wider team with a wide range of design and production tasks.

This is a hands-on internship for someone who enjoys translating ideas into polished visual materials that align with an existing brand identity. This includes updating and converting existing files to the new brand style, designing and producing a wide range of visual assets such as social media content, digital advertisements, presentations, and marketing materials, and helping maintain a consistent, high-quality, and professional brand identity across all channels. The role is based in our Amsterdam office and is perfect for later stage students in design, marketing communication, creative business or a related field.

Your responsibilities

As Design Intern, you will support the team with a variety of design and production activities. Your work may include:

• Converting investor presentations into print-ready materials

• Creating first design concepts for internal and external communication assets

• Assisting with the layout and visual design of one-pagers, factsheets, press materials and presentation slides

• Turning financial or investment-related content into clear, visually appealing communication materials

• Searching for and selecting suitable visuals, icons and images for marketing assets and app-related materials

• Editing, resizing and converting images

• Supporting the in-house designer with day-to-day design and production work

• Helping improve the consistency, quality and usability of our visual materials

• Working with tools such as Adobe and PowerPoint

Your profile

You are visually strong, accurate and eager to learn. You do not just enjoy creating good-looking designs, you also understand that professional communication needs to be clear, consistent and carefully finished.

In addition, you recognise yourself in the following:

• Good working knowledge of Adobe

• Strong PowerPoint skills and an eye for presentation design

• Interest in marketing, branding and visual communication

• Able to work accurately and with attention to detail

• Proactive, independent and comfortable taking initiative

• Quality-oriented and willing to improve your work based on feedback

• Practical mindset and not afraid of hands-on production work

• Comfortable working in a professional, fast-growing organisation

• Available for an internship of 4 to 6 months

This internship is not intended as a graduation research internship. However, depending on your school’s requirements and the assignment, there may be room to connect part of the internship to a school project.
