Marketing Intern

Marktlink Capital is a Private Markets Investment specialist based in the Netherlands, with headquarters in CitySide Amsterdam. We offer entrepreneurs and private investors access to renowed private equity, venture capital and private credit funds. Marktlink Capital currently has a team of over 80+ professionals and manages more than EUR 3,5 billion in capital commitments. This capital comes from over 3000 investors who have collectively invested in over 175 underlying funds.

We’re looking for ambitious bachelor’s or master’s students (at any stage of their studies) to join us as Marketing Intern starting from November, December or January. This 6 month, full-time internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in marketing within the investment world and a fast growing company. As our business expands, the role of marketing becomes increasingly essential in driving strategic and commercial decisions, making this internship ideal for someone who is curious, creative and eager to learn across different areas of marketing.

As a Marketing Intern, you will become part of our marketing team and work across different areas of marketing. From our website and email campaigns to content, events, social media and design: you help us turn ideas and campaigns into reality. You’ll work closely with our content, digital and design specialists and get the opportunity to discover which areas of marketing suit you best. At the same time, you’ll have real responsibility from day one. You don’t just observe, you contribute.

The start date is negotiable.

Your Responsibilities

No two weeks will look exactly the same. You’ll learn to support the team across our different marketing activities and gradually take ownership of your own projects. You will, for example:

• Create and update content on our website and in our investor app;

• Help build and prepare email campaigns in HubSpot;

• Support the creation and publication of social media and other marketing content;

• Assist with setting up and optimizing landing pages and campaign pages;

• Help prepare online campaigns and analyze their performance;

• Support the organization and communication around events;

• Work with our designer on creating and adapting marketing materials;

• Help ensure content is correct and consistent across different languages and channels;

• Dive into data from tools such as HubSpot and GA4 and turn it into useful insights;

• Spot opportunities to make our marketing processes smarter and more efficient.
  

Your Profile

You don’t need to know everything yet, that’s what an internship is for. We are looking for someone who is curious, pro-active and eager to learn. During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to develop your marketing skills, explore different areas of the field and learn from experienced colleagues.

• You are studying Marketing, Communication, Commercial Economics or a related field at HBO or university level;

• You are looking for a hands-on internship where you can actually contribute;

• You like to combine creativity with a structured way of working;

• You are digitally savvy and quickly learn new tools and systems;

• You have an eye for detail and care about the quality of your work;

• You are comfortable taking initiative and asking questions when needed;

• You have a good command of Dutch and English;

• You are interested in online marketing, content and data;

• Is based in or near Amsterdam, or willing to commute to our office.

Experience with HubSpot, GA4, CMS systems or online advertising is a plus, but definitely not a requirement.
